By Appointment Only.
Student life can be stressful. Instead of dealing with it alone, talking to someone students can trust, like a student counsellor, can help put things in perspective. The counsellors are ever ready to have a chat about any problems students may have – whether it’s schoolwork, family or relationship issues.
By appointments only. For students who need to consult someone about the challenges they are facing in their course of study, including those pertaining to their personal lives. They can speak with their academic advisor, School Para Counsellors or Student Counsellors.
Para Counsellors are academic staff who are equipped with the requisite counselling skills to support students in their respective academic schools. For a list of Para Counsellors in each academic school, please login to the Student Portal.
Student Counsellors are full-time professional staff located at the Student & Alumni Services Office. Students can book a counselling appointment with them through the counselling portal.
The crisis helpline: 6460 6777 serves to support students in emergency situations.
Students experiencing interpersonal issues, personal issues, emotional issues, coping with and solving problems and decision-making problems can talk to the counsellors at the Student Care Centre. Together, students can then discover their strengths and weaknesses, and explore solutions to their problems. If students are still facing any gnawing issues or constant negative feelings, they can make an appointment with their counsellors at the Student Care Centre.
The counsellors are bound by professional ethics to maintain the confidentiality of anything that is discussed during counselling sessions.
Students can make an appointment by requesting for a session online via e-Services/e-Resources
